✦ The basics
What are bubble fonts?
A bubble font puts every letter inside a round enclosure — a circle, a filled bubble, a square or a decorative frame — so words look playful, soft and impossible to miss. Bubble fonts are the go-to style for cute Instagram bios, TikTok display names, Discord role names and birthday messages, because the round shapes stand out in plain text without needing an image or a special app.
There is no single typeface called “the bubble font”. What people mean by bubble fonts is two things: Unicode bubble letters — real characters you can copy and paste as text — and rounded, puffy typefaces that look like bubbles in a design. This bubble font generator gives you both, in one place, free, with no sign-up.
You get 135 bubble font styles: 22 true Unicode alphabets (circled, squared, fullwidth, enclosed digits, double-struck and raised/lowered digits), 42 decorative Unicode styles (combining enclosures, bracket wraps, symbol wraps, line styles and new wraps), 20 creative styles (fraktur, bold script, monospace, small caps, upside-down, Roman numerals and more) and 51 bubbly Google Font previews for design projects. Type once, and every style updates instantly.
✦ A to Z
Bubble font alphabet: every letter, from A to Z
A bubble font alphabet covers the whole alphabet — capitals, lowercase and numbers — so you can bubble your name, a word or a whole sentence without any letter left plain. Here is the full alphabet in the classic circled style, one of the 22 Unicode alphabets on this page:
Ⓐ Ⓑ Ⓒ Ⓓ Ⓔ Ⓕ Ⓖ Ⓗ Ⓘ Ⓙ Ⓚ Ⓛ Ⓜ Ⓝ Ⓞ Ⓟ Ⓠ Ⓡ Ⓢ Ⓣ Ⓤ Ⓥ Ⓦ Ⓧ Ⓨ Ⓩ
ⓐ ⓑ ⓒ ⓓ ⓔ ⓕ ⓖ ⓗ ⓘ ⓙ ⓚ ⓛ ⓜ ⓝ ⓞ ⓟ ⓠ ⓡ ⓢ ⓣ ⓤ ⓥ ⓦ ⓧ ⓨ ⓩ
⓪ ① ② ③ ④ ⑤ ⑥ ⑦ ⑧ ⑨
Plus circled numbers right up to 50 — ㉑ ㉒ … ㊿ — and raised ¹²³ and lowered ₁₂₃ digits.
Not every style covers every character: some alphabets exist only for capitals (“ABC only”), some only for lowercase (“abc only”) and some only for digits (“123 only”). Characters with no bubble version pass through unchanged, so your text never breaks. Type your name in the box above and watch the whole alphabet change at once across all 135 styles.
✦ Step by step
How to use the bubble font generator
- Type your text into the bubble text generator at the top of the page. Every style updates instantly as you type.
- Customize the look — change the text colour, background, size and alignment above; every card updates live, and PNG downloads match your preview.
- Pick a style you like — use the tabs to browse Unicode styles, decorative styles, or Google Font previews.
- Press Copy on any Unicode or decorative style to copy and paste bubble letters into Instagram, TikTok, Discord, WhatsApp or anywhere else that takes text.
- Download it as an image — press Download PNG on any card to save that style as a picture. Choose “With background” for a coloured background, or “Plain font only” for a transparent image with just the letters.
Google Font cards work differently: they are previews, not copy-paste text. Follow the “View on Google Fonts” link to download a typeface and install it for posters, thumbnails and other designs.
✦ Soft & cute
Cute bubble letters for bios, captions and celebrations
Cute bubble letters are the softest corner of the bubble font world: round, puffy and friendly, the kind of lettering that makes a bio feel warm before anyone reads a word of it. The most-loved cute styles here are the circled lowercase alphabet — ⓗⓐⓟⓟⓨ ⓑⓘⓡⓣⓗⓓⓐⓨ reads like a hug — and the heart and star wraps that frame a word in symbols.
Use cute bubble fonts for Instagram bios and captions, TikTok display names, birthday messages, journaling, classroom displays and scrapbook pages. Pair them with the soft, aesthetic bubble look — gentle words, plenty of space — and even a plain “good morning” feels like a little gift. And if you want your text as a picture instead, the Download PNG button saves any cute style as an image, with or without a background.
✦ Everywhere you post
Where to use bubble letters: Instagram, TikTok, Discord and more
A bubble letters font works anywhere that accepts plain text, because the output is real characters, not a picture. Here is where people use it most:
Bubble letters make bios, captions, stories and comments stand out in a feed full of plain text. Instagram bubble text displays correctly on every phone, so your followers see exactly what you see.
🎵 TikTok
Give your display name and bio a bubbly look that matches playful videos. Paste bubble text straight into your profile — no app or font install needed.
💬 Discord
Discord supports Unicode characters, so bubble letters work in server names, channel names, role names and messages. A bubbled role name is easy to spot in a busy member list.
🎮 Gaming usernames
Turn a plain gamertag into something memorable. Bubble letters work wherever a game accepts Unicode text — try your username in the generator first, since some games restrict special characters.
✉️ WhatsApp & YouTube
Drop bubble text into WhatsApp messages and status updates, or use it for YouTube video titles and channel descriptions that catch the eye in search results.
🎨 Posters & designs
For birthday posters, thumbnails and classroom charts, use the Google Font previews or download any style as a PNG image — with a coloured background or transparent, just the letters.
✦ Script & fancy
Cursive bubble letters and fancy bubble letters
Two styles people ask for again and again are cursive bubble letters and fancy bubble letters — and they work differently. Unicode has no connected cursive alphabet, so a true cursive bubble look comes from rounded script typefaces: the Google Font previews here include script-style bubbly fonts like Pacifico, Lobster and Cherry Cream Soda, which you can download and install for designs.
For copy-and-paste fancy text, dress your words up instead: wrap them in stars or hearts, underline them, strike them through, or frame them in brackets and guillemets. Combine a circled alphabet with a symbol wrap and a line style, and plain text becomes fancy bubble letters in seconds — no design software needed.
✦ Know the difference
Unicode bubble fonts vs Google Font previews
Every style on this page is one of two kinds. Knowing the difference saves confusion:
Copy & paste as text
Unicode bubble fonts
The 22 Unicode alphabets, 42 decorative styles and 20 creative styles are real text characters. Copy them, paste them into any app, and they travel with your message — no install, no image, no app.
Download & install
Google Font previews
The 51 Google Font previews show how your words look in a downloadable typeface. You cannot paste that look as text — but you can download the font from Google Fonts, install it, and use it in posters, thumbnails and videos. Or press Download PNG to save that exact look as an image.
✦ Questions, answered
Frequently asked questions
What are bubble fonts?
Bubble fonts are letters drawn inside circles, squares or other round enclosures, so each character looks like a little bubble. On this site most bubble styles are real Unicode characters, which means the styled text itself can be copied and pasted anywhere.
How do I copy and paste bubble text?
Type your text in the box at the top of the page, find a style you like, and press its Copy button. Then paste it into your bio, caption, message or username with Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac, or long-press and Paste on a phone).
Where can I use bubble fonts?
Anywhere that accepts plain text: Instagram bios and captions, TikTok bios, Discord server and role names, WhatsApp messages, X posts, YouTube titles and gaming usernames. Because the output is real text, not an image, it needs no app or font install.
Why do some letters stay unchanged in some styles?
Unicode does not have an enclosed version of every character. Some sets exist only for capitals (marked “ABC only”), some only for lowercase (“abc only”) and some only for digits (“123 only”). Characters with no enclosed version pass through unchanged rather than showing as a broken box.
What is the difference between Unicode bubble fonts and Google Font previews?
Unicode styles are characters you copy and paste as text. Google Font previews only show how your words look in a downloadable typeface — you cannot paste that look as text. To use a Google Font in a design, download it from its Google Fonts page and install it.
Are bubble fonts free to use?
Yes. Every style on this page is free to generate and use, with no sign-up. The Unicode styles are plain text characters, and the Google Font previews link to fonts that are free to download from Google Fonts.
Why do some bubble letters show up as emoji or flags?
Two Unicode sets overlap with emoji: the negative circled letters A and B are also the blood-type emoji, so some apps colour them, and regional indicator letters render as country flags when they appear in pairs. That is how those characters behave on every device, not a bug in this generator.
Can I download bubble text as an image?
Yes. Every card has a Download PNG button that saves that style as a picture. Pick a text colour and a background colour above the styles, then choose “With background” for a coloured background or “Plain font only” for a transparent image with just the letters. This also works for Google Font previews, which cannot be copied as text.
How do I make bubble letters?
Type your words in the box at the top of the page, pick a bubble style you like, and press Copy. Then paste the bubble letters into your bio, caption, message or username. It works the same on a phone: type, tap Copy, long-press and Paste.
Can I use bubble letter fonts on Instagram?
Yes. Instagram accepts Unicode characters, so bubble letter fonts work in bios, captions, stories and comments. Because the characters are standard text, they display correctly on every device without any special app or font install.
What is the bubble font called?
There is no single font with that name. “Bubble font” covers two things: Unicode enclosed characters — circled, squared and filled letters you copy and paste — and rounded, puffy typefaces like Bubblegum Sans and Fredoka, which you download and install for designs.
What Google Fonts look like bubble fonts?
The most bubbly Google Fonts previewed here include Bubblegum Sans, Fredoka, Chewy, Titan One, Pacifico, Lobster, Lilita One, Luckiest Guy, Bagel Fat One and Cherry Bomb One. All 51 previews on this page are free to download from Google Fonts.
Do bubble fonts work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Unicode bubble letters are rendered by your phone's own operating system, so they display correctly on both iPhone and Android with nothing to install. Google Font previews are for design work: download the font for posters and videos, or save any style as a PNG image, which works everywhere.
Can I change the font size, colour and alignment?
Yes. The Customize controls above the styles change the text colour, background colour, size and alignment live on all 135 cards at once — no need to adjust each style. PNG downloads use the same colours, and your settings are remembered on this device for your next visit.
